Dr. Lucía Fernández Gassó is a doctor in Cardiology. She is a specialist in multimodal cardiac imaging and works in the cardiac imaging unit of the Hospital Universitario de La Paz in Madrid, Spain.

Dr Silvia Valbuena, MD, is Consultant Cardiologist in University Hospital La Paz, Madrid. She works in the Cardiac Imaging Unit, with special focus on CMR and advanced echocardiography techniques. Her research mainly focuses on cardiomyopathies and Cardiooncology. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and regularly participates in lectures and courses on this field.

Victoria Delgado is Head of the Cardiovascular Imaging section of the Heart Institute (iCor) at the University Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol with specific focus on multimodality imaging. She obtained the Medical degree at the University of Barcelona and specialized in Cardiology at Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. She obtained the PhD with cum laude at the University of Leiden (The Netherlands) and worked as Senior Cardiology Consultant at the Leiden University Medical Center for 13 years.
She is currently the President-Elect of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging. She has served as councilor of the European Society of Cardiology board from 2020-2022 and has been heavily involved in numerous committees of the Society such as member of the EuroObservational Regristry Programme and committee of the Clinical practice Guidelines.
She is Senior Editor of Circulation and board member of various international peer-reviewed Journals.
She is Scientific Advisory Board member of the European Cardiovascular Research Institute and currently holds the position of President of the Scientific Commission of the Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.–FNRS).

Dr Fernández-Golfín is the Head of the Cardiac Imaging Unit at Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid where near 17.000 echocardiogram are performed every year. She has many years’ experience in eechocardiography, 3D echo, cardiac magnetic resonance, cardiac CT, multimodality imaging and structural heart disease interventions. She has been involved in national and international congresses with imaging related communications and has been faculty in different courses and congresses related to cardiac imaging on a regular basis. She has more than 100 articles on imaging in different clinical scenarios and is part of the Board of the Spanish Association of Cardiac Imaging.
